This Paper is intended to:
i) Provide an insight into the quality of Teacher Education Training and. Development in Uganda and its impact on education quality across all levels of education
ii) Highlight the key Policy Reforms in Teacher Education Training and Development proposed by the National Teacher Policy (NTP, 2019) and their implications on Teacher Training Institutions (TTIs) in Uganda
iii) Propose transitional arrangements to MOES for effective implementation of the Policy reforms
