dc.description.abstractIntroduction This module has been designed for school administrators and managers. It is aimed at assisting Headteachers, Deputy Headteachers and teachers in providing quality education to learners. It will particularly guide Headteachers to provide quality management for effective learning in their schools. In this module, management is understood as the art of mobilizing and organizing resources to achieve set goals. The goals/objectives are: • Explain and use the concept of an effective school. Develop and implement strategies for provision of support instructional supervision to teachers. Develop strategies for personnel management. • Implement strategies to promote and build stakeholders participation in school improvement. The management module has four units. These are:- UNIT 1: What is an Effective School? UNIT 2: Support instructional supervision UNIT 3: Staff recruitment and development UNIT 4: Stakeholder participation in school improvementen_US
