School User Manual for Teacher Effectiveness and Learner Achievement System

Abstract

TELA is a platform to enable information exchange between various stakeholders involved in the management of primary and secondary schools in the education sector. TELA operates on mobile devices with Android operating system. TELA has been jointly developed by the Planet Systems (U) LTD. Ministry of Education and Sports (MOES) and Directorate of Education Standards (DES). TELA is a time-on-task performance management system that uses a smart phone with GPS and biometric features designed to monitor real time teacher/ head teacher attendance and timetable implementation. It is also a supervision and performance management tool that captures evidence-based information for quick and easy decision making by providing instant reports.
