National Conference on End of the UN Decade on Education for Sustainable Development

Abstract

This is a report on the activities of the one-day National Conference for the End of Decade for Education for Sustainable Development in Uganda organised by the Uganda National Commission for UNESCO on Thursday 18th September 2014 at Imperial Royale Hotel, Kampala. The conference was the major final official event at a national level for the UN Decade on ESD in Uganda. The aim of the conference was to reflect on the activities, engagements, achievements and challenges by the different stakeholders in Uganda. It was also meant to chart the way forward for the Post-2014 of action for ESD in Uganda. This report therefore gives a detailed record of the conference proceedings and outcomes.
