Abstract

Administration The Government Uganda has a responsibility to educate all its citizens. This is done by setting up and supporting a school network that extends all over the country. The government provides teachers, pays their salaries, pays learners' fees and funds textbooks/ other materials, infrastructure and furniture. It also has an obligation to ensure effective use of all the resources through close supervision and monitoring. The School Management Comittee (SMC) is responsible for the administration and efficient management of the school in accordance with the Law.
