Final Aide Memoire for the Ninth Education Sector Review (ESR)

Abstract

1.0 INTRODUCTION 1. This is the 9th Education Sector Review (ESR) in a series of bi-annual Reviews conducted under the sector-wide approach. It examined the sector's performance in the past six months and the budget projections for the financial year beginning July 2003, within the Medium Term Budget Framework (MTBF). While the Review largely focused on progress made since October 2002, it also reviewed 12-months targets set during the 7th ESR in April 2002. The Review was executed through central plenary and group discussions, as well as regional field visits.
