Aide Memoire for the 6th Annual Education and Sports Sector Planning and Budgeting Workshop

Abstract

1.0 INTRODUCTION 1.1 This was the Sixth (6th) Annual Education and Sports Sector Planning and Budgeting Workshop, since March 2003 and it was held at Statistics House, Kampala from 26th to 27th February 2009. 1.2 Objectives of the Workshop The objective of the workshop was to discuss and agree priorities for the Sector. The workshop specifically focused on: (i) Discussion of the draft Budget Framework Paper (BFP) for FY 2009/10 - 2011/12; and, (ii) Sector and sub-sectoral priorities, targets, outputs, funds allocation and funding gaps. 1.3 Expected Outputs of the Workshop (i) A Budget Framework Paper (BFP) FY 2009/10-2011/12; and, (ii) Agreed Sector and sub-sectoral priorities, targets and outputs.
